You Make it Feel Like Christmas
| Gwen StefaniYou Make it Feel Like Christmas
You Make It Feel Like Christmas is the fourth studio album by American singer-songwriter Gwen Stefani. The album, which is Stefani's first full-length Christmas-themed album, was released on October 6, 2017, by Interscope Records. The record was executively produced by Stefani and Busbee, with additional production coming from Eric Valentine. The standard version of You Make It Feel Like Christmas contains twelve songs, featuring six original songs penned by Stefani, Busbee and Justin Tranter, and six cover versions of Christmas standards. While going on a nature walk near the Oklahoma ranch house belonging to boyfriend Blake Shelton, Stefani felt inspired to record a Christmas album and began writing what would later become "Christmas Eve". Recording sessions took place in the summer months of 2017; several of the tracks' titles leaked in August, leaving Stefani to confirm the project in September. The album's original songs make references to Stefani's newfound love and relationship with Shelton. -Wikipedia

‘Tis the season to rethink holiday albums.
-
Hidden Jams
You Make It Feel Like Christmas is a fun album that walks a fine line between contemporary and time-honed. Sonically, it fits into the retro soundscape of soulful pop that birthed many of the holiday classics we still enjoy today. It’s a lighthearted record that the whole family can enjoy.
-
Financial Times
The ingredients are camp — bells, “shoop shoop” backing vocals, tinselly strings — but they are applied with a dully straight face. The sense of zaniness in the best of Stefani’s own songs is absent.
-
All Music
Still, the moments that work have a coquettish charm that is appealing, which is reason enough to warrant a listen.
-
The Musical Hype
Gwen Stefani rings in the holiday season with a fun, well-rounded Christmas album, ‘You Make It Feel Like Christmas.’
-
The Highlander
While there are a few songs on Stefani’s Christmas album that encapsulate the Christmas spirit and will have you singing along with her in the car — or while decorating the Christmas tree — there are far more songs on the album that don’t feel like Christmas.
-
Holly Jolly Playlist
This is one of the most fun holiday albums released in the past few years.
-
Entertainment Focus
Stefani has delivered a fantastic set on You Make It Feel Like Christmas.
-
The Guardian
Gwen Stefani’s You Make It Feel Like Christmas justifies its title only because it’s both cloyingly sentimental and charmlessly tacky.
-
Pop Sugar
Stefani's mix of favourites with a pop twist and original songs is sure to delight fans.

The Clarion
Every song makes you feel like it’s Christmas, and that’s all thanks to Stefani’s ability to break the formula set up in the first half, and her ability to be personal.
