RollingStone
2006 - None of the arrangements veer far from the originals, but they don’t need to — it’s good enough to just hear the band having fun and to see where all the Hysteria came from.

2006 - Def Leppard sucks, but we know that. What we don't know is that they're capable of making a decent record. Well, they did it. They made a decent album. And it's not even that great.

ALL MUSIC
It's a killer record in its own right, and more pure fun than anything yet released in 2006.
-
SLEAZE ROXX
2006 - The album is a great collection of music that led the band to their reality. The songs are a part of history and although they don’t sound like Def Leppard, its part of what Def Leppard is. Keeping with the unique and creative side to their music, this album is nothing short of what is expected out of the band.

The Review Revue
2006 - Def Leppard is fun, that’s what people listen to them for and Yeah! is just the kind of album that can re-establish their reputation with a new generation of fans.

an unabashedly punch-drunk love letter to the bands whose music bewitched the adolescent Leps into strumming tennis racquets, banging on sofas with knitting needles, and taking more than a passing fancy to wearing their sisters’ clothing.

BULLS-EYE
The really great thing about Yeah! is that it sounds both like Def Leppard and the artists they’re covering.

Give Me Your Handrew Blog
2006 - If you like Def Leppard -- and there's no reason you shouldn't -- and if you like '70s British rock -- and there's no reason you shouldn't -- then you will enjoy Yeah!.

Something Else Reviews
Yeah! was the best thing they’d done in years, but that sounds like a back-handed compliment — and it’s not meant to be.

ROUGH EDGE
You would have thought that this whole fad of covering the songs of the bands that inspired you would have faded by now. But then you hear a CD like Def Leppard's "Yeah!" and you realize there might be a reason these kinds of releases continue to be recorded and released.

musicOMH
2006 - These are universally great songs, but Def Leppard, for the most part, fail to breathe any new life into them.
-
Sea of Tranquility
2006 - Despite the limitations of recording a covers album the band has to remain at least somewhat true to the originals to make its point these songs are a natural fit, and Yeah! comes off sounding almost like a traditional Def Leppard album.

Steve Hoffman Music Forum
2006 - I can't believe it, but it's absolutely incredible! Covers albums usually spell the end of bands' creative careers, but Def Leppard sounds positively revitalized with this - the energy on display here puts them right back in their heyday.
