As usual, his imperial victory-march hip-hop songs are fun, and mildly exhausting.

We the Best was nearly a decent album.

DJ Khaled projects are like the pro bowl. You have the biggest stars together in one place, but when they hit the field, nobody really tries their best and the actual game doesn’t turn out to be anything special.

Though the content of We The Best Forever is what we've come to expect from a DJ Khaled offering-grandiose odes to the grind and getting yours-that he understands how to create those better than most is what makes a DJ Khaled track, and album, worthwhile.

At this point listeners are either down with his movement or they aren't, and while We The Best Forever is a solid piece, it's not different enough from his previous work to change any minds about him.

It just goes to show that on a DJ Khaled album, you can't be Eddie Van Halen. You've got to be David Lee Roth.

The Miami radio DJ and Terror Squad member takes few stylistic chances, making We The Best Forever a mostly tedious listen despite its flashes of lyrical invention.

We The Best Forever is limited to networking and idiotic shouting between songs.

Going into a Khaled album you know what you're getting, similar beats, the same features and damn near the same lyrics about nothing but ballin' bustin guns, and being the illest trap-boy ever.

We The Best Forever doesn’t really separate itself from the rest of Khaled’s work in terms of originality.

Despite some definite clunkers, Khaled most likely has another hit on his hands. We the Best Forever is a prime example of popcorn rap, an enjoyable listen even if the production values are loftier than the content.
