He can make club hits, he can make tough-ass rap hits, he has top-notch confidence when he raps, he can make catchy hooks, and most importantly, with the release of Untrapped, he’s proven that he can make a complete body-of-work.

A star-studded project.

In Untrapped, not only do you get beats that will get clubs to shake but you also get beats that are soulful, holy, calm, epic, and vintage-sounding. When it’s all said and done, I like the variety of beats on Untrapped.

Gotti’s free. No longer cornered in the streets, Yo Gotti prevails on his tenth studio album, Untrapped.

Untrapped embodies several forms of liberation for Yo Gotti outside of a lyrical sense, including altruism, abolition and philanthropy for all. If you’re a Gotti fan evolving with the times, it may land as the ultimate opus for you too.

The album has club bangers, street anthems, love songs and even some funny songs, and Yo Gotti does them all well. The features also were well utilised for the most part, with all of them being at good fit for the track at the very least, and my favourite of the lot being Rick Ross’ impeccable feature verse on ‘Dopechella’.
