Pitchfork
The Nigerian superstar’s latest LP can feel heavy under the weight of his personal reflection and Pan-African crusade. It is a load worth carrying.
-
The Guardian
The Nigerian superstar doubles down on his landmark 2019 album African Giant with a heady cocktail of styles and big-name guests that amplify his own compelling voice.
-
musicOMH
Twice As Tall is a novel but worthwhile fusion of disparate artists and styles.
-
Pulse
What we are witnessing is a creative peak in an alignment of stars, chance and opportunity.
-
Uproxx
his danceable Afro-fusion isn’t just a new musical craze for them to latch onto for a while — there is a history and a legacy behind it. You can’t engage the art without engaging the artists who make it, and that means a lot of uncomfortable context.
-
The Wall Street Journal
The Nigerian artist brings in prominent American talent for his fifth record, but stays true to his Afrobeats style.
-
Medium
Twice as Tall album is a modern musical masterpiece.
-
The Telegraph
His new album schools all who dared underestimate him, including the Grammys.

Ratings Game Music
Will Twice As Tall blow you away as much as African Giant did? No, but I do see the album putting him on another level.
-
meaww
Burna Boy blends joy, hope and unity with powerful social messages on latest release.
-
NME
The Nigerian hero has roped in Chris Martin and Sean 'Diddy' Combs to craft a collection that confirms his status as a contemporary great.
-
The Arts Desk
The producers are 90% Nigerian, the album was almost entirely recorded in Lagos under COVID-19 restrictions, and towering over it is Burna Boy himself, calm and confident in himself and his position as a superstar. It’s a joy to hear someone reach a position like this without dilution or compromise.

Notjustok
delivering an album which stakes his name on his claim to greatness. It'd be madness to think he isn't seated on those plush echelons at this moment.
