Critic Reviews

All Music
it's fun and quite enjoyable
-
Metal Storm
The innate humor makes it sound more genuine and "classic Alice" than his other, blander albums from this period ... much of the album is unusually well-written for non-peak Alice Cooper, and "Poison" still carries magic
-
Mike Ladano
The result is unfortunately what I consider to be a weak disc, dated to the times, and with only a few strong songs that have held up over the years. It is certainly a creative low
-
Invisible Oranges
2008 - Two things stand about this record, though. First are the awful, awful lyrics, which I can’t imagine anyone singing with a straight face
-
The great Southern Brainfart
2012 - it’s by far the most memorable of Alice’s later years material
-
Pop Culture Beast
2017 - there are some really catchy songs on here but at the same time, it’s a little too commercial- with some songs cringe worthy. Overall, this one is okay.
-
Only Solitaire
This one's simply a very mediocre genre experiment
-
Metal Storm
Trash ultimately shows itself to be an unexpectedly well-written work.
-
Louder Sound
The third entry in Alice’s heavy metal comeback quadrilogy, Trash is the goofiest and cheesiest of a pretty overripe bunch. But while it earns zero points for subtlety or nuance, it makes up for it in big, dumb fun.

Haggard & Halloo Publications
2010 - As perfect as glam+hard rock get. If you are a fan of great electric riffs and an ultra-energizing 10-song-album with only 2 songs that barely give you a time to rest, this album is THE ONE.
-
Ginger Nuts of Horror
2018 - Trash is the gateway drug for the world of Alice Cooper.
-
Rocktopia
2014 - The second coming of Cooper, using the sound of the day to make it work for him.
-
God is in the TV
it is one of his most enjoyable for his total embrace of the cheesier side of his persona

2018 - Don't Be Stunned by the Album's Title Because It is One of the Best Hard Rock Albums Ever!
-
The Recoup
2014 - Trash is the work of a master musician, returning to reclaim his role in the rock world he helped define.
