July 3, 2017. So, this is not an incredible album. But in the context TLC’s legacy - as a goodbye tour to end one of the biggest girl groups of our time - there is still something touching here.

July 7, 2017. TLC doesn’t take any creative risks and, in doing so, ends up lukewarm and average — two words that would have never been used to describe TLC in their heyday.

June 30, 2017. It’s enjoyable, but it leaves me wondering if TLC could have pared-back the nostalgia kick to allow their new songs to stand out in their own right.

July 7, 2017. All in all, this album displays the old TLC we all know and love – their R&B style mixed with pop – but it also gives us a side of the group we hadn’t really seen before. It lived up to all of my expectations, and it was a solid way to end the legacy of TLC.

July 11, 2017. TLC's final album a fitting tribute to the R&B veterans. Fifteen years on, these slick dozen tracks have a carefree sunny vibe, moving with the times without trying too hard to chase the zeitgeist

June 30, 2017. TLC is more of a frustrating album than a bad one – the themes are here, the nostalgia is strong, the tone is decent but it feels more like the skeleton of an unfinished product instead of a fully formed body of work.

July 20, 2017. Overall, the self-titled “final” TLC album can be seen as a blemish on the groups legacy. If it was based solely off of music, it wouldn’t be so bad – pretty mediocre – but still not so bad. Needless to say, I’m disappointed in the overall outcome.
