By no means do I think this album is a slip-up, but I also do not think it’s MVP caliber either. What it is is a a solid album that I think shows this hunger from a young artist that watched how his counterparts were making music and wanted to add his own flair to it.

Rich should remain a flexer, and leave the R&B collabs for more diverse artists. I’m sure he is fully capable of making a good one in the future. In spite of that speculation, there isn’t one here.

Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised by how good this album was, now I like Rich The Kid, but I didn’t expect him to put out such a good debut album as coming in I didn’t think he had it in him, but he really proved me wrong as this album was great melody wise, had a unique sound and delivered very very well.
