Show All-
Kerrang!
this is overall a sharper, bolder, more offering from a band who might just succeed in using it as a launch pad to bigger things.
-
Wall of Sound
Fit For A King continuously manage to impress fans all over the globe, including myself by using what works for them musically and improving on that sound. Hopefully, they will be down under again soon, but until then, playing this album on repeat is almost just as good.
-
Cryptic Rock
Overall, The Path gives you a look at the heavier side of the band with grittier solos and catchy choruses, but also solidifies these the music will stay with you long after the last track ends. It is victorious, speaking to all of the darkness within and offering a beacon of light for Fit For a Kings fans new and old. A soundtrack of hope in these trying times.

Distorted Sound Magazine
The Path may be well-worn but it’s worth taking all the same. FIT FOR A KING don’t do originality, but they write great songs and some of these cuts will be stuck in your head for days. They’re very easy to like too and it’ll only take a couple of spins before the hooks are dug in deep. This is refined, professional and if you can make it to the end without wanting to find a stage to jump off, you’re made of stronger stuff than us.
-
Jesus Freak Hideout
overall, the band plays their music well, and the variety is a welcome addition. Even on their new path, Fit for a King shows they have the ability to travel it well.
-
Sputnik Music
There’s no doubt that Fit For A King is still making sincere and competent music, but paying the bills isn’t always compatible with being interesting.
-
Bring the Noise
The world may not be heading back to normal any time soon, but bands like Fit For A King are determined to power through in commendable fashion and are providing some much need light in these dark times.
-
Caliber TV
All ten tracks could each be a single, the sonic variety is larger than ever and the songwriting is more straight-forward.
-
Deadpress
With ‘The Path’, Fit For A King show a band prepared and evidently ready to move towards a more grand and stadium ready sound. With the tracks to back up their ambitions, they’re well on their way towards the front of the metalcore pack.
-
The Circle Pit
It has all the right elements to be a popular Metalcore success which seems to be FFAK’s aim here.
-
Gig Goer
Returning with metalcore at its fines, Fit For A King’s new album The Path is going to be everything you expected and hoped for.
