A thoroughly impressive debut -- and it's all the more impressive when you realize she only topped it with its immediate successor, before losing all focus.

One of the most captivating (and promising) debuts in rock history, and one that O’Connor has impressively managed to match or exceed more than once.

On a scale from one to ten, this album deserves a seven and a half. The reasons for the rating are that the songwriting is excellent on most tracks, but there are only nine tracks on the album to start, and two of them weren’t worth the time put into them, in my opinion.

Having been rendered emotionally raw by the young woman held within these tracks, one aches for the singer to rediscover the assuredness of her past self, once again embodying the lion of her debut.
