Pitchfork
These stories of separation and loss are rendered so dispassionately, it’s hard to feel invested in their outcomes.
-
Uproxx
The girl grew up, now she knows exactly when to run, and the power of what it means to stay.
-
Spin
Deviates just enough from the previous album’s formula to be considered a legitimate evolution.
-
The Fader
There are incredible melancholy moments, but parts do sound oddly tight. Wet's most romantic album.
-
Stitched Sound
The ethereal sound that comprised Wet’s debut album is still present.
-
Riff Magazine
Still Run shows the the knack of Wet of balancing indie pop with electronica.
-
Medium
A pleasant follow up to their first album, communicated by the softness — yet, at the same time, the power — in Zutrau’s voice, and the ethereal vibe that the group have become known for.
-
Diandra Reviews It All
Through Kelly Zutrau’s fresh, effervescent voice, you will want to embrace love better.
-
Exclaim
It's commendable that Wet have chosen to diversify their work.
-
Press Play OK
It’s a tender and self-aware moment of vulnerability, with Kelly Zutrau and co taking a break from their dark arrangements to cross over to more alternative fare. 3/5
-
Read Dork
Arriving at a soft folk acoustic haven. Gabrielle Aplin-like vocals spring to mind.
-
Off Key Magazine
Overall this album itself is a work of art, and one of the rare ones these day’s you can really listen to all the way through.
-
Consequence of Sound
A gauzy, vulnerable cut about an imbalanced relationship.
-
Northern Transmissions
Stretching their sonic range here, they make a song that hits you in weird ways to keep you gripped while never keeping it predictable.
-
MXDWN
Zutrau’s sweet voice pairs with excellent production and arrangement to craft a solid album.
-
Stereoboard
The album sounds gorgeous but lacks heart, which is fine if you’re prioritising form over meaning in alternative R&B, electro or indie-pop.
-
The Reflector
If you have the time, give Still Run a fair chance. It took me about four listens to enjoy the album as much as I do now.
-
The Tilt Reveiws
Still Run is an above average album that is great to have when you’re in the mood for emotional lyrics or want something soft in the background
-
Pop Justice
It's been a while since I've been this excited for a new band.
-
Gig Soup[ Music
It refuses to ask for attention. Instead it seems sufficient just being there, another album for a stranger to pick up and fall in love with.
-
Hi Voltage Records
Music that combines the elegant ache of Nineties R&B with the raw honesty of indie pop...". Still Run is a testament to taking that control and pursuing one's artistic vision.
-
Indie Style
'Still run' seems sick in the same bed as its predecessor and is a hopefully quickly forgettable second album from an apparently uninspiring group.
-
Music Minnesota
I’m excited to see the new direction of Wet.
-
Aural Fixation Reviews
Beauty radiates from the record, softening the band's grief track by track until it puts the turmoil to sleep with a final lullaby.
-
Atwood Magazine
The lightheartedness will make Wet more accessible to a wider audience
-
Irish Times
It’s not quite cutting loose, which the band would benefit from trying every once in a while, but it at least grabs the attention.
-
Surviving the Golden Age
There are certain high points within the album, no doubt, but unfortunately those points are too few and far between.
-
Riff Magazine
There’s a refreshing maturity there to complement the sound.
