NME
Countless killer punchlines, but not quite a K-O.

Legends Will Never Die
A lot of cats put out their best work when they’re younger, but 2 Chainz is one of the few instances of an artist getting better as they get older & it’s undeniable. There are a few features in the tracklisting that I could’ve done without, but the personal lyrics are compelling & the production choices are very consistent as well.

Baller Status
Overall, So Help Me God is solid. Sonically and production wise, the album really shows 2 Chainz in ways that his previous albums have not. His creativity blazes throughout the body of work. The producers did an incredible job and 2 Chainz thrives on the project.

Commedia
Overall, this is another very good album from 2 Chainz that builds anticipation for more released music from the Atlanta wordsmith.

Ratings Game Music
All in all, So Help Me God! Is a very solid album. There are some songs that I think are really good, there are some songs that I think are so-so, and there are some songs that start off good and turn into something that sounds so-so. I guess you can say GOD helped 2 Chainz make this album, but halfway through it, he took an unexpected lunch break.

Beats Per Minute
It’s a heavy topic, but 2 Chainz has proven himself adept enough to sell experience as his greatest quality.

Clash Magazine
A record of diverse highs and lows, ‘So Help Me God’ finds the Atlanta MC revelling in his major league status, flipping through ideas at a stunning rate across its 15 strong tracklisting. There’s a lingering feeling, though, that 2 Chainz hasn’t quite distilled exactly what to do with the opportunities being presented to him.

HipHop Hopscotch
The production is nice as some tracks were carried by the beat, but it had it’s own unique touch for this Southern style of rap as 2 Chainz's personality shone, and while it’s flawed and doesn’t exactly hit you as amazing – it’s definitely an easy album to throw on for a casual listen.
