. . . So Good Together re-examines McEntire's artistry and puts fans back in touch with the Reba we know and love. No one sings emotion better than McEntire, and the relaxed warmth of her voice produces one of the finest vocal performances she's bestowed on listeners since before Starting Over.

It's as if McEntire has entered the coasting zone of her career, hitting the pop button and is happy with that. Unfortunately for McEntire, that doesn't make for a good album.

The sheer power of Reba McEntire's voice is an awesome thing. But it's the careful way she controls that power that makes SO GOOD TOGETHER a great CD.
