Seasons Change

Seasons Change is the fourth studio album by American country music singer Scotty McCreery. It was released on March 16, 2018 as his first album for Triple Tigers, and his first since See You Tonight five years prior. The album's lead single is "Five More Minutes", which gained in radio popularity at a point when McCreery was not signed to a label. The song's success led to him signing with Triple Tigers, and in early 2018, "Five More Minutes" became McCreery's first No. 1 Country Airplay single. - Wikipedia

  • Sounds Like Nashville

A clear reflection of where he’s at in life, the album turns themes of love, humility and steadfastness into honest songs about the ebbs and flows of life.

  • Your Life in a Song

Equipped with big drums, big chords and a big sing-a-long chorus, ‘Seasons Change’ is everything you would want as a come-back mission statement from such a talented performer.

That's all down to all the smartly constructed commercial cuts, given a handsome polish by producers Frank Rogers, Derek Wells, and Aaron Eshuis. When combined with the singer's ease, these elements turn Seasons Change into McCreery's best album yet.

A soundtrack to his life, Scotty has set the bar high this year and I challenge any artist to deliver a more honest, authentic album that hits quite like Seasons Change does.

  • Three Chords and the Truth UK

This album sits firmly in the mid region of the mainstream, with little pretence to attract back traditionalists or reach out to deeper non-country genres such as pop, hip hop, rock and r‘n’b.

While five years between albums is an eternity in the music business, "Seasons Change" proves to be worth waiting for.

  • Taste of Country

Scotty McCreery bet on himself for his third studio album. The mostly self-written, very autobiographical Seasons Change details his engagement, makes clear that he's no saint and reminds you that while he's Nashville proud now, he'll always be a Carolina boy.

  • Six Shooter Country

The songs are well crafted and hark back to the type of emotionally fuelled country that the likes of Darius Rucker and even Chris Young were producing a few years ago.

The album is the perfect balance of feel-good songs and sentimental ballads, making McCreery’s return a fun reintroduction to a familiar, yet matured friend.

-filled with honest songwriting, amazing vocals, and talented musicians. You can’t go wrong with any of that; especially in this generation where manufactured music is all around us.
