Hip Hop DX
If Scary Nights‘ message is saying anything at all, it’s that G-Eazy hasn’t found a new way to talk about being caked up, doing drugs or hooking up women. He also doesn’t seem too concerned with that either, and that’s okay for his paying customers.

The Musical Hype
All in all, Scary Nights is an enjoyable EP. That’s pretty much all that you can say about the effort really. G-Eazy doesn’t really ‘scare’ anybody with this project (wacky album art and all), nor does he progress beyond the work of his previous albums. Scary Nights does its job and shows that Eazy hasn’t change much if any.
