Say You Will
| Fleetwood MacSay You Will
Say You Will is the 17th studio album by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac, released on 15 April 2003. It was the first Fleetwood Mac album since Kiln House in 1970 that did not include tracks written by vocalist/keyboardist Christine McVie, who had left the band in 1998. It was however the band's first studio album since Time was released in 1995. - Wikipedia
Critic Reviews
Show All-
Drowned in Sound
Diverse, ambitious and expansive.
-
All Music
But there are too many songs, simply too much to make Say You Will work, even if there is enough to admire to make you wish it did.
-
Slant Magazine
The Mac have thrown in everything but the kitchen sink.
-
Sputnik Music
An excellent album with tracks that could easily join their predecessors in the group of classic Fleetwood Mac
-
AV Club
has enough contemporary production sheen to avoid being mistaken for a 20th-century artifact
-
The Gaurdian
The trademark textured sound remains glistening, but the lack of consistency proves tiring.
-
Something Else Review
At 18 songs, Fleetwood Mac’s Say You Will is simply too long.
-
Martin Leedham
That doesn’t mean to say it is bad. Quite the opposite in fact.
-
EW
”Say You Will” soars like the Mac of old.
-
NME
Can sometimes feel like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich without the jelly. But that’s not to say there aren’t gems here.
-
Bol
Good production, perfect sound, strong numbers
-
Aphoristic Album Reviews
Overlong and disjointed, but there are enough strong songs for a respectable album
-
Rock a Little
Strongest collection of songs since Rumours, and its most sonically audacious work since Tusk.
-
Capitol City Free Press
Diverse, well-rounded and once again proves the artistic and performance prowess of this host of musical pioneers.
-
DVD Talk
All in all, I found the album to be very enjoyable, with a coherent sound for the whole album
