Critic Reviews
Show All-
Ultimate Classic Rock
Revenge, the most consistent, hard-hitting and critically acclaimed album ever released by the non-makeup version of Kiss
-
All Music
Some of the cuts are excellent, delivered with conviction and panache, but for all the hype, the album is also tainted with filler.

Something Else Reviews
It was probably a couple of days later when I finally quit repeating “Unholy” over and over and moved on to the other songs. Fortunately, the rest of the album didn’t disappoint either.

Sleaze Roxx
KISS storm back after the blah Hot In the Shade from 1989 and just about put out what I would consider the ultimate KISS album
-
Mike Ladano
Revenge is Kiss’ best sounding album since Lick It Up or Creatures.
-
Mark's Record Reviews
Oh man, this is some humiliating stuff. Kiss at their most hilariously macho and least melodic.
-
Metal Excess
Though it’s not without some filler (“Spit”, “Paralyzed”), Revenge is not only one of the band’s best non-makeup albums, it’s also one of their best albums in their whole catalog.

Poffy's Movie Mania
