All in all, RED & WHITE feels less like a complete body of work and more like a random collection of Pink Tape testers, unreleased tracks, and throwaways. Since it is labeled as an EP, it gets a slight pass for its haphazard construction. However, as hype for their third studio album grows more and more every day, this EP has made it clear that Lil Uzi Vert’s new sauce needs some serious mixing before they finish The Pink Tape.

Red + White EP features a combination of bulls**t tracks and special ones. In the bulls**t tracks, Lil Uzi Vert throws a bunch of styles, melodies, and structures at us, seeing which one would stick. In the special tracks, I feel like he stacks on what he does well, focusing on the intricate details more. All in all, I think Uzi’s polishing of old styles and leap into new styles will bold well for his new album.

Anywhere the Dope Go
Uzi does way more than what could’ve ever been expected from a Soundcloud EP. Last time a bigger artist did this, it was delivered so lazily that it was instantly forgotten (Trippie Redd). They once again prove they’re an act to stay on constant look out for, where even their random material is better than majority of artists out today. If this is just the EP, the album might exceed any expectations previously set.
