Critic Reviews
Show All-
Pitchfork
The Toronto rapper’s debut is a long shot at cementing his legacy that is plagued by indecision and self-doubt.
-
Hip Hop DX
As the album stands, the Auto-Tune frenzy comes across as whining from someone who can’t — and has no desire — to help himself and seek outside assistance.
-
DJ Booth
Twelve songs never felt so long.
-
Hot New Hip Hop
Ultimately, the album offers hollow music for busy people; it's something you can study to as easily as that lo-fi playlist you have bookmarked.

Medium
Overall NAV did a good job with his delivery. This tape sounds similar to his older work, but with improved flow and production.

Surviving the Golden Age
The problem with Reckless is not that it fails in its chief endeavor. In fact, it’s greatly successful in being basic. Rather, the problem is that, though it is achieves its goal, it was a goal that was never worth achieving.

GIGsoup
I admire the effort; however this act is one dimensional.
