Lyrically, Cooper is in familiar territory — a sad self-narrative about an apparition stuck in another dimension. A great start to yet another nightmare.

2017 - Paranormal pulls out all of the familiar stops one can expect from an Alice record, yet still doesn’t come off as routine. Songs like “Paranoiac Personality,” “Private Public Breakdown,” and the title track, are all worthy of putting alongside any of Cooper’s classics.
