After a decade in the game, It would appear an old Dogg can still learn new tricks!

Breathing new life into a frequently hackneyed genre, Ghetto Heisman puts the fun back in G-funk.

Snoop Dogg is a great flow-er, salesman, and has a great ear for beats. When it comes to lyrics... umm...

Hip Hop DX
Where his interests in validating his street cred may have faded, he soars when thinking outside the box.

You've got to be a strong figure to keep together an album this long and this rangy, but Snoop Dogg is up to the task.
-

For the most part he's laying back, kicking his mackadocious pimpalicious raps, and doin' the damn thang like he always does.
-

Sure, the streets would be safer with him off them but a hell of a lot less exciting as well.
-
The Boombox
An album that would serve as the genesis on his reinvention as a tenured veteran and hit-maker.
-

It is Snoop’s best effort for a long time. Which is saying something.
-
Hot Press
His flow drips molasses. He’s Deputy Dogg with a bone, chawing down on every vowel until it has yielded the marrow of its meaning.
