Not a Moment Too Soon is the second album by American country music singer Tim McGraw. It was released on March 22, 1994. McGraw's breakthrough album, it reached No. 1 on Billboard's Top 200 chart and No. 1 on Billboard Country chart and stayed for 26 consecutive weeks. It was Billboard's best selling album of 1994.     McGraw's identity as a singer and as a bandleader was being forged bit by bit. Taken as an album, Not a Moment Too Soon is actually a solid listen, containing the first real hints of the influence of Southern rock on his sound, one that would endure.

  • My Kind of Country

    Outside of the singles, there isn’t much else of interest here, just generic filler, the best of which is “Give It To Me Strait” a tribute of sorts to George Strait, though I have my doubts that he ever really one of Tim’s musical heroes. Still, the lyrics are entertaining...
