For an album of 16 tracks to not have any flaws is quite rare, even if there are some stronger moments there really are not many weak ones.

It's a solid record yet it doesn't have much climax or energy to it.

Although their album offers a high quantity of whomping bass lines played at relaxed tempos, Snoop demonstrates throughout that he still has love for the East Coast.

Overall, therefore, Neva Left may yield some of the most outstanding songs from Snoop Dogg’s recent output, but the project, as a whole, is all over the place.

Other than "Big Mouth," though, there's nothing truly awful here, and there's enough good that it isn't a total loss.

The 15th record is a sad attempt to try to recapture the atmosphere of 1992-1994. It comes off more as a cheap mixtape .
