The album became the highest US debut of 2006, with 721,747 units and went double platinum in the first month of release. The album logged three weeks at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. It was the second-best selling album (behind High School Musical) and the best selling country album of 2006. Me and my Gang starts off with Stand, a song the builds up and speaks of hope in a tough situation. It's a mellow opener for this album, but it is a good foreshadow of what is to come on this record.

Plugged In
Me and My Gang features catchy choruses and excellent tidings about relationships, perseverance and turning to God. A few disappointing miscues keep this project from being a Flatt-out home run.
