-
Music OMH
Essentially, Snoop’s still Snoop. Unlike rappers who angrily grunt on all their tracks, Snoop has always maintained a smooth, laid back, “rap softly but carry a big stick” approach.
-
Pop Matters
This album seems to rely so heavily on great hooks and attractive beats to sell Snoop's tired, been-there-done-that raps, I can't imagine this being a truly satisfying release for most listeners.
-
Prefix Magazine
Not, by and large, very ambitious.

Rukus Magazine
This proves that Snoop can still remain a strong contender in the Hip-Hop industry.
-
Totally Dublin
He’s staler than Maddy jokes, and having Lil Jon shout “whadditdo!” on his album three years after he was relevant definitely doesn’t help.
-
The Scotsman
But the main man acts the malevolent musical uncle to ensure nobody rains on his parade.
-
Spin
The Dogg-father smoothly dispenses boasts about his set, his weed intake, and his pimp hand. He also spells out his name-a lot.

The distinctive Snoop Dogg vocal style is as crisp as ever and he is joined on Malice by a virtual who's who of today's top producers and artists.
-
The Manitoban
Although, you know, the more I think about it, maybe Snoop’s steady hand on the gat is exactly what hip hop needs right now.

The Aggie
Ultimately, it’s the small details that make the album clever:
-
Cutting Edge
We do not disturb us, because even though the songs are diverse, the majority is doing a great job during a ride through Wonderland.
-
Parle Magazine
Snoop has made the transition from triple OG MC to laid back romantic celebrity marketing tool quite efficiently.
-
HH Vibe
a great listen that will not take all day to be heard in its entirety. From Hip Hop Vibe
