Living Off Xperience certainly won’t recreate the paradigm shift the Ruff Ryders triggered in the late 90s. Instead, it serves to solidify their legacy as hip-hop pioneers. Times may change but D-Block is as mighty as ever.

Legends Will Never Die

If you ask me, this is WAY better than Jadakiss’ latest album Ignatius. Could’ve done without the redundant & corny radio cuts, but you can definitely hear how much The LOX have grown together as a group throughout the past 26 years of their career. Especially on the more grimier joints on here.

When seeing my rating of Living Off Experience, you have to take into account the fact that this is what it is, a mixtape, and that it could easily have scored a 3.5/5 (or higher if you're into this kind of rap), had it been cut down to only take the best songs off this extremely lengthy disc.
