Critic Reviews
Show All-
All music
Here, Currington's strong yet supple voice gives soul to his fondness for soft, melodic tunes which, combined with his understated musical explorations, helps turn A Little Bit of Everything into one of the best country-pop albums of 2008.
-
Country Standard Time
Currington does his best to be a pop/soul balladeer and his voice, for the most part, confidently lives up to the task while remaining unmistakably southern-tinged, if not outright country.
-
Country Music Central
Billy has potential, he has shown it time and time again, but this album was not the way to try and re-fuel that fire. What should have been a little bit of everything turns out to be a whole lot of nothing with a few bright moments.
-
Roughstock
Billy Currington has confidently returned to country music with an album that, despite a couple of questionable tracks, is one of the best country-pop releases of 2008.
-
Nuts About Country
A collection of “summery” tunes that are sure to please loyal listeners, and hopefully several others.

Sounds Like Nashville
The songs on the album are very diverse and a few of them have a bit of an R&B feel to them, which isn’t surprising – Billy has recently said he’d like to try an R&B album within the next couple of years, but for now, he’s got a winner with this country album!

People
It’s all solid if unspectacular, boosted by Currington’s everyman appeal and easygoing delivery, which serves him well.
