Unlike its predecessor, there isn't much to dig into here; what you hear upon that first listen is exactly what you get.

By no means is Let Love In a bad album. Rzeznik is certainly capable of writing a pop/rock anthem, as earlier smashes like "Name" and "Iris" prove. There's no grand-slam hit on this album that matches up to those, but nearly every song on this album has a chorus that practically leaps out of the speakers and jumps through your ears.

While this album may not be of the same caliber as “Dizzy Up the Girl”, it’s still a strong addition to this bands already impressive catalog.

Mostly all songs sounds like the ones put on the smash-hit album. If you like their newer music you will like this, if you prefer the older Goo's you will definitely be disappointed once again I'm afraid.

Good album but oh so super safe! They will sell lots of copies without doubt but I'd rather listen to DUTG one more time coz it beats the hell out of this one.

All in all, Let Love In is not a bad album. It would enjoyably help to while away an hour’s driving, but those seeking a little more punch will have to look elsewhere.

Let Love In seems to present the Goo's fans with a new beginning.

Their new album Let Love In flows without the strong captivating hook that Gutterflower had and it is most definitely without the eclectic style that Dizzy Up the Girl candidly expressed so well. Vocalists John Rzeznick and Robby Takac keep pushing their styles in completely opposite direction making the band quite schrezophrenic.
