CoS
Kiss the Ring often sounds like it was made just to vault the celebrity-status and net worth of the man on its cover. And that’s a pretty awful thing all around.
-
XXL
Kiss The Ring is brief and overrun with enough proven formulas and artists that the opportunity for a miss barely exists.
-
ALL MUSIC
Think of this as a run-of-the-mill Khaled album and that mill is still doing pretty awesome.
-
exclaim!
Khaled goes through his hip-hop Rolodex yet again and compiles a strong collection of MCs and producers to add some shine to his latest musical collage.
-
HIPHOPDX
Lacking any cohesion, Kiss The Ring is a series of single tracks that hit or miss.
-
BBC
Though its combative title suggests Khaled cares little for anybody's approval, Kiss the Ring ends up more of a formulaic slugging match than any collection of genuine rap prize-fighters really should.
-
the musical hype
is a well assembled, star-studded affair that rarely misses.

Time after time the president of Def Jam South has produced the most incredible compilations. This time things are different however, this time he’s expressed his appreciation while asking for the same. Why? Because he’s an advocate for Hip-Hop; a true believer in the beauty the art form has to offer.
-
GlobalGrind
the album is a quick, fun listen, with no glaring holes to be found.
-
Huffington Post
Kiss the Ring may or may not prove Khaled’s claim to be “the best.” It may or may not win over his most ardent haters. But as the titular phrase suggests, he’s already on top anyway.
-
THE 405
It may lack substance but DJ Khaled's Kiss The Ring is an energetic, entertaining album featuring immaculate production and offerings from a spectrum of currently relevant rappers.
-
ALL HIP HOP
It’s still the same formula that Khaled been giving us for six years during his run, and although it would be nice to see Khaled take more chances musically, it’s easy to argue that he’d be crazy to try and tamper with something that works for him.
-
noisey vice
I will always listen to DJ Khaled albums. They exist to be heard. They exist because they are the Best. Forever.
-
MVREMIX URBAN
Kiss the Ring isn’t going to make any Top 10 lists as an album, but a few tracks will stick around long enough to justify a 2013 release for Khaled. That’s probably all he was aiming for anyway.
-
SPECTRUM CULTURE
For the most part, Khaled knows how to make a party sound like a party and keep it going. While not quite as satisfying as the 2 Chainz album that came out earlier this year, Khaled will still bump in your whip whether you’re on your way to the club, at the club or coming back from it.
