Rolling Stone
1972 - Killer (Warner Bros. 2567) is without a doubt the best Alice Cooper album yet and one of the finest rock & roll records released in 1971.
-
All Music
With Killer, they became one of the world's top rock bands and concert attractions; it rewarded them as being among the most notorious and misunderstood entertainers, thoroughly despised by grownups.
-
Ultimate Classic Rock
2016 - The album contained songs that matched irresistible pop melodies with punchy hard rock
-
Sleaze Roxx
2016 - I can’t help but be astonished at the brilliance of the album on an overall basis. Killer takes the listener on an epic journey with songs that are so different but yet fit so well all together.
-
Culture Fusion Reviews
2013 - a high quality b-horror movie soundtrack that features a wide range of weird characters and horrific situations that simultaneously make you laugh and shriek as it explores the dark side of life realistically AND ridiculously
-
Head Heritage
2002 - Through five songs and three epics, the Coopers came on nothing but strong with their band chemistry at an all-time high totally reckless, arrogant and caterwailin’ ‘bout nuthin’ and everything in particular

Mark's Record Reviews
This rock and roll is SMART. The pleasers and the darkers all develop logically and dramatically to their individual climaxes, as does the overall album itself.
-
Only Solitaire
"Art-garage" at its absolute best. Don't mind all the shock-rock stuff, just dig the music!
-
Don Ignacio
Nope, there's absolutely nothing shoddy about this album. Shock-rock does not mean it's trashy! These guys are as tasteful and artsy as can be.
-
Metal Storm
the supremely powerful songwriting and unique application of the sinister established Killer as a classic, and it remains a defining work in the early years of hard rock and heavy metal
-
Louder Sound
For gut- level shock rock thrills, nothing before or since can match the raw death trip power of Killer.
-
Keno's Classic Rock n Roll Web Site
The second best album put out by Alice Cooper.
-
The Sludgelord!
2014 - The whole album is wrapped in a mysterious, moody aesthetic that the band has never fully replicated in the same manner beforehand or since. It just seems like the band were really focused as a collective, with ideas flowing and inspiration sparked.
