  • Study Breaks

“Joytime III” is not a good album. Marshmello lacks personality, ideas and skill. His nods to music outside of basic EDM are superficial and poorly executed. The LP is not even enjoyable for its low quality.

, Marshmello sticks close to kindred spirits, recruiting Slushii, Yultron, Flux Pavilion, Wiwek, and others on a dance-centric mix that keeps the energy flowing and the mood elevated.

  • Your EDM

Marshmello is about as divisive a topic in dance music as they come. You either hate him with all your heart or he’s the best thing to happen since actual marshmallows. Either way, sorry to say it, haters, there’s no denying his new album Joytime III is a hit.

Joytime III caters music for any type of mood, whether you want something to vibe along to or something to bring out the headbanger within, Marshmello has you covered. Not to mention the production is top-notch and extremely heavy hitting.

Joytime III brings us back to mello’s EDM roots. I’d still say most of these tracks are radio worthy.
