Released just a matter of weeks after Parachute, Hooligan -- a collaborative album with Adam Calhoun -- continues the somber mood of its predecessor. It's not as reflective as Parachute, which is perhaps appropriate for a duet record with another hick-hopper, but the confrontational attitude is couched in heavy bass throb and dour beats. Hooligan remains a solid record, one that gets by on its focus and glower.
