My Kind of Country
Overall, Hard Workin’ Man is an average set of songs from two obviously very talented individuals. Whether you blame the production of the era or some of the lyric choices for the soft spots, you can’t deny there are some really fine moments here – and even a couple of brilliant ones.

The pair never put all the elements together the way they did their first time out, but they came close enough that few people noticed.

Brooks & Dunn know what the average country fan wants, and they deliver it in bushels.
