| BabyfaceGrown & Sexy
Grown & Sexy is the sixth studio album by R&B singer Babyface. The album was originally titled A Love Story and was due to be released on March 23, 2004. However, after the lead single ("The Loneliness") failed to attract radio airplay/sales, the album's release was shelved. It was later reworked into Grown & Sexy with three songs ("The Loneliness" "God Must Love U" "The Getting 2 Know U") being taken from the A Love Story sessions. The album reached number 10 on the US Billboard 200 and at number 3 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. - Wikipedia
Critic Reviews
Show All-
All Music
Grown & Sexy doesn't have any songs that immediately jump out and fall in line with the biggest hits, but it does make up for that with its consistency.
-
People
On the midtempo title track, one of many lush, sensual numbers, the silky-voiced crooner details why his stability and maturity make him a much better catch than a young player.
-
Soul in Stereo
Grown & Sexy shows that he can adapt his sound and songwriting to a changing climate.

The Oklahoman
While the CD contains some shining moments, Babyface's goal to stand out at a solo artist remains distant.
