Classic Rock Review
Go to Heaven touched elements from each of those previous styles, along with a slight return to the band’s core grooves while incorporating some modern funk and synth motifs.

Rolling Stone
Go to Heaven is mainly more of the same uninspired fluff that’s become the Grateful Dead’s recorded stock in trade.

it's too short to really write about, and yet it's hard not to complain about them wasting space on such filler. Pretty much sums up their attitude towards quality control at this point. Is "Go To Heaven" "American Beauty"? No, but it's still a pretty enjoyable record, not their worst by a long shot.
