Go to Heaven is the eleventh studio album by rock band the Grateful Dead, released April 28, 1980 on Arista Records. It is the band's first album with keyboardist Brent Mydland. Go to Heaven was both the third Grateful Dead studio album in a row and the last for over seven years.     Go to Heaven touched elements from each of those previous styles, along with a slight return to the band’s core grooves while incorporating some modern funk and synth motifs.

    it's too short to really write about, and yet it's hard not to complain about them wasting space on such filler. Pretty much sums up their attitude towards quality control at this point. Is "Go To Heaven" "American Beauty"? No, but it's still a pretty enjoyable record, not their worst by a long shot.
