Pitchfork
A$AP Ferg’s new free tape, Ferg Forever, features guest spots from M.I.A., Big Sean, SZA, and Tinashe as well as production work from Big K.R.I.T., Clams Casino, Mike WiLL, and others. It's a mixed bag that finds an interesting young rapper trying shit out.

Ultimately, Ferg Forever does what Ferg needs it to do: keep the Mob relevant until they unleash the next Rocky album.

BET
Ferg Forever is the combination of A$AP Ferg’s growth as a person and as an artist. Even on some of the less memorable tracks like “Uncle,” “Doe Active” and the half reggaeton “Jolly,” Ferg’s versatility shines through.

Stereogum
Ferg Forever is half a great tape, and the not-great half still gives you plenty to think about. That makes me like it a whole lot more than someone else’s pretty-good tape.

Duke of HipHop
As for ‘Ferg Forever’, it actually surpassed my expectations. I expected Ferg to continue to do his thing and just put out banger after banger but there is quite a bit of variety on this tape. But don’t worry, there’s plenty of bangers too.
