Extreme Behavior

Extreme Behavior is the debut studio album by American rock band Hinder. It was released in 2005 by Universal Records to generally negative reviews, before going platinum in September 2006. All songs were co-written by Brian Howes, except for "Shoulda", which was co-written with Brian Howes and Social Code. The song "Running in the Rain" did not make the cut for the album, but has been played at concerts on their North American tour. -Wikipedia

That's why it's dude rock instead. Hinder are so egregiously dull they appeal not to fans of music, but fans of high fives.

A long way to go before achieving their rockstar dreams, but at least at this point, they’ll settle for getting stoned and whining.

Not to be taken too seriously, this is a straight-across rock record that serves the people who want to listen to it well.

A generally solid but not very spectacular and very entertaining album.

But it is worth buying or downloading the four songs mentioned above, because they are not to be missed.

If you enjoy their music and can see past their limited lyrical value, Hinder's a fun band to listen to.

For the most part, Hinder are all about big dumb rock, the kind of stuff that's happily ignorant of common courtesy or trying much of anything new musically.

Like a stereo left on in the keg room, it's just a chatter of swear words and tuneless electric guitar blab.

This is definitely one kick ass release: I like the balance and mix from track to track with some sentimental songs and riveting rockers.

Unfortunately, the disk’s inconsistency scuttles the hopes of a solid rock and roll album.
