EVOLUTION.

Evolution is the seventh studio album by American heavy metal band Disturbed. It was released on October 19, 2018, by Reprise Records. The album's first single, "Are You Ready", was released before the album in August 2018, while the second single, "A Reason to Fight", was released a month later. The album debuted at number four on the Billboard 200, making it Disturbed's sixth straight top 5 album. It is the band's first album since The Sickness to not reach number one, thus ending the band's streak of number one albums at five. - WIKIPEDIA

lives up to its moniker, the familiarity of the architecture is lent considerable gravitas by the overall execution, which as per usual, leaves nothing but perspiration in its wake.

The ballads are a great way to show off Draiman’s pipes and vocal ability but so long as they don’t lose their hard and aggressive metal edge.

it really is a shame that this isn’t better, and that it’ll likely go down as the album where Disturbed tried to do something new and fell flat on their faces because of it.

If these tones can be heard anywhere, almost every metalhead recognizes who this is within a few seconds. The other pole is the super soft side, with the acoustic set-up and fragile voice of Draiman.

Evolution can describe the fact that a band can't remain the same over the years and they reached a point when they said that they gotta show something else to their fans, something to touch the ones who actually have the time to understand them.
