a really great album that makes up for its lack of focus with the pure genius of some of its particular ideas. Definitely one of Alice's best albums and easily one of the finest albums of 2005.

2015 In sum, Dirty Diamonds offered quite a varied set that rarely strayed from its stated mission statement of accomplishing more with less, When a legend like Alice Cooper is involved, what else does one need but the familiar, charismatic original article itself?

2005 - a roller-coaster ride through Alice Cooper‘s mind – a mind filled with humor, contradictions, horror and a host of musical ideas ... another MUST purchase from this rock legend

The album was worthy redemption from the big-money blandness of his mid-'80s recordings and a nice return to form after flirting with the industrial-flavored metal that defined his late-'90s material.

This could go down as one the worst CD’s Alice has put out to date. The backing musicians don’t help either.

2005 - not only has Cooper put out his catchiest album since Trash, but he and his guitarists Ryan Roxie and Damon Johnson, have truly nailed the old Babies sound, combining the retro sound with a few modern touches, and doing so with pure panache

2005 - Those awkward moments aside, this is surprisingly strong Alice, not School’s Out or Welcome To My Nightmare, but not so far off, either. The title track, a sex-filled Sabbath-riffed crime story, is as good as anything Alice has done in at least a decade

2017 - This was a tricky album. The highs were VERY high (Woman of Mass Distraction, Saga of Jesse Jane, Dirty Diamonds), while the lows were kind of low (Pretty Ballerina). Still… it is Alice and therefore awesome.

I'd challenge all but the modest ardent drum 'n' bass/trance fan to not find something to like on here

2015 - Overall, Alice again has succeeded in his quest to put the basic edge and “fun” back into his music.

20015 - This is prime ’70s riff-driven rock’n'roll music, the kind that only Alice could write.

Like many of Alice's albums, it doesn't hold itself to any one sound, expanding on the punk elements sometimes, the bluesy elements other times; in fact, the best songs are the ones that break the mold.

2005 - From start to finish 'Dirty Diamonds' is a fantastic journey through the weird and wonderful world of Alice Cooper, from the Rock 'n' Roll swagger of 'Perfect' to the Country and Western twang of 'Jesse Jane'.

It sounds terrible and features some songs too diverse for the traditional Cooper audience and certainly not in keeping with the quality output of his last few records.

it’s wonderful that Alice can still come up with classic tracks but has the courage to try his hand into different genres. ... For anyone who hasn’t gotten into Mr Cooper yet, give this album a try and you’ll be pleasantly surprised
