If Freewave 3 was rock bottom, then Days B4 III is the climb back up.
-
The Double Cup
Often being praised for his drowsy delivery and ability to portray his personal struggles, this new project did not resonate well at all. Lucki comes across as a faux deep rapper on every song from the tape. They all have the sound of freestyled, mumbled tracks with zero passion.
-
WHIP
In the end, Lucki puts out another solid project in a string of good to great ones. It’s obvious that he’s gone through a lot in his career but seems to be becoming more confident in himself. Not the best project he’s put out this year, but still, one to check out.

BURBS Entertainment
Just months after the release of his career-changing Freewave 3, Chicago's brightest underground star is back with another instant classic.
-
AUDIBLWAVE
Overall, Days B4 III is fire. Lucki has been working nonstop in the music scene and seeing him drop something this good feels almost unreal.
-
Hot New Hip Hop
Lucki's newest album is packing some heat. Editor Rating:VERY HOTTTTT
-
ihiphop
On-brand with his woozy aesthetic, Days B4 III fits nicely in Lucki’s catalogue while demonstrating further artistic honing; the slurred melodies ironically take firmer shape.
-
Dirty Glove Bastard
Throughout the appeasing album; Lucki allows listeners to fully embrace his artistry with the grit, wit, emotion and the complete vulnerability he shows in his lyrics.
