CONSTRICTOR

Constrictor is the sixteenth studio album by rock musician Alice Cooper released on September 22, 1986. After a hiatus from the music industry after the release of DaDa, Cooper remained in seclusion for three years. He starred in Monster Dog, a horror film for which he wrote two songs. He also guest starred on the Twisted Sister track "Be Chrool to Your Scuel". Constrictor was Alice Cooper's first album to feature Kane Roberts on guitar, Kip Winger on bass, who would later gain great fame with his own band, Winger and the only one to feature David Rosenberg on drums. -Wikipedia

I could, and have, listened to Constrictor on repeat for hours on end. While there are a couple of B-sides, I feel Constructor is a very underrated Alice Cooper album

2016 - Alice Cooper delivered a strong album in Constrictor and compared to Dada and Zipper Catches Skin, Constrictor is almost like a masterpiece!

  • Metal Storm

This album is still oriented towards glam rock rather than glam metal, which means there is a lot of straightforwardly fun and hearty material here that's just drowning in shoddy production and passionless performances.

Unfortunately Constrictor was a comeback album that needed a bit more comeback in it.

Constrictor's large amount of filler makes the album unmemorable on the whole, but it serves an importance in proving that Cooper was still entirely capable of rocking out, and was ready for a return to the mainstream without completely selling himself short.

Sometimes it’s the atmosphere of an album of songs that mesmerizes me so. This Alice Cooper album is a fine example of that.

Oh! NO! If I wanted to listen to a bad album, I would listen to Kiss.
