As it is, Confetti is exactly what you would expect from the band: a solid mainstream pop album – even when it’s claiming that it isn’t.

there’s certainly a gap in Confetti that leaves you wishing there was a further step forward into something coherent.

These talented women are now undeniably veterans of kiss-offs and pop bangers with soaring choruses. Confetti is a dependable album with recipe staples, but to keep future interest piqued, something new is now required in the mix.

Although “Confetti” isn’t anything groundbreaking for the group, it proves that Little Mix’s defiance to allow the industry to break them apart is truly their biggest strength.

‘Confetti’ is a bold exploration into their pop sound as they reclaim their creativity after leaving their record deal with SYCCO and have excitingly dived deep into the sounds and influences that genuinely inspire them. These thirteen tracks are a great representation of who they are as women individually, as well as a group.

Overall, I enjoyed the Little Mix album because even though the songs are more mature we are still given the fun and uplifting style we love from this band.

It's a shame that Little Mix already used the title Glory Days for their fourth album in 2016 because this record sounds like more of a glory period for the group. Entertaining but not over the top and bold but not self-serving, Confetti is their best work to date.

Confetti is a pick and mix of their inspirations, flawlessly infused with their glam pop sound; a sound that we have listened to and loved (whether openly or as a guilty pleasure) for the past nine years.

Confetti is an entertaining yet poignant offering that’s both mainstream pop and something beyond - without trying too hard.

‘Confetti’ is the sound of this tenacious band finding themselves again after years of collective rehabilitation (Jesy Nelson’s Odd One Out documentary is essential viewing) and messy, protracted label difficulties. When they lay it bare on the lilting, earnest Happiness—“And I swear I'm never gonna lose me again.”—you believe them.

There are a bunch of standouts on this album. The entire second half of the album is just as strong as the first half. It is impressive that the album’s momentum doesn’t let up and just keeps delivering.
