Billy Currington is the first studio album by American country music singer Billy Currington. It was released in September 2003 via Mercury Records Nashville. The album produced the singles "Walk a Little Straighter" and "I Got a Feelin'". Both were Top 10 hits on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, peaking at numbers 8 and 5 respectively. The song "Ain't What It Used to Be" was later recorded by Megan Mullins, whose version was released as a single in 2006. Currington co-wrote all but one of the songs on the album. --Wikipedia

Currington makes himself right at home on the charts with this heartfelt, convincing, and very promising debut.

Nuts About Country
It is refreshing to hear an album that contains eleven songs and, not only do they each sound different, but nearly every one of them tells a story that you can relate to in some way.
-
Country Standard Time
Currington may not have quite found his musical voice yet, but the Georgia native clearly is off to a good, strong start.

Country Music Online
After listening to the whole CD, I really think that Currington would be a great addition to the list of country artists who make it big time.
