Bible of Love

Bible of Love (also known by its full title Snoop Dogg Presents Bible of Love) is the sixteenth studio album by American rapper Snoop Dogg. It was released on March 16, 2018. Bible of Love serves as his debut gospel album much like Reincarnated (under his different persona Snoop Lion) served as his debut reggae album. Snoop himself served as executive producer over the entirety of the project. Bible of Love is also his first double studio LP as it features 32 tracks. -Wikipedia

One interesting standout is how seamless Snoop’s signature silky spitting lives so comfortably within the palette of such classic gospel timbres.

It makes sense, on a narrative level, that a man who has spent much of his life deviating and inventing would, at forty-six, become interested in expressions of redemption and forgiveness.

Bible of Love is an admirable turn for the former Doggfather -- now grandfather -- and serves as a wholesome but inessential addition to Snoop's protean catalog.
