  • Taste of Country

Rascal Flatts call Back to Us a return to their roots, but sonically their newest studio album is quite progressive. They're not as experimental, but nothing about the songs screams early 2000s radio.

  • Sounds like Nashville

Rascal Flatts return to their roots with their tenth studio album, Back to Us. The country trio are well known for their spot-on harmonies, impressive guitar skills and energetic live show and their latest effort showcases the best of each of these qualities.

Rascal Flatts’ is an album filled with sounds we’ve come to expect from this trio. Even though they had help from topnotch writers, like Chris Stapleton and Dan + Shay, this tenth studio release somehow lacks that ‘wow’ factor. It’s good, but not exactly great.

  • Building Our Own Nashville

Back To Us does not disappoint, it is mostly a typical Rascal Flatts album with introductions to a newer, fresher and younger sound.

  • All Music

If the title of Back to Us suggests that the three members of Rascal Flatts have decided to ditch everything extraneous and return to their roots, well, that's intentional.

LeVox is in great voice here, reminding listeners why he and the band are often cited as influences by today’s young guns, from Dan + Shay to Hunter Hayes.
