Anghellic

Anghellic is the third studio album released by Kansas City based rapper Tech N9ne on August 28, 2001, on JCOR Entertainment, Universal Music Group, and on Strange Music, which at the time was a sub-label. In 2001, the song "Tormented," appeared in a scene of the TV series Dark Angel, playing for nearly two minutes in the background of a bar scene contained in the season two episode "Two." The album was re-released in 2003 with additional songs and remastered sound as Anghellic: Reparation. This version was released through Strange Music after conflicts with JCOR Entertainment during its original release. -Wikipedia

Overall I’m giving Anghellic a 4 out of 5, that album doesn’t exactly have many flaws but it most definetly isn’t perfect. Everyone should check this out, it is indeed very solid and unique rap.

he employs numerous distinctive rapping techniques; rapid-fire repetition, shifting back and forth between tongue-twisters and short, declarative bursts, and continual flurries of unusual phrasing. In this manner, Tech adds a fresh sonic dimension to his sordid tales, perking up our ears as he blows our minds.

The whole concept behind this album was corny as hell to me, but that’s to be expected from a Tech N9ne album. I’m pretty sure this is one of his most popular albums. It’s wack tho, so I don’t know why.
