All We Know Is Falling

All We Know Is Falling is the debut studio album by American rock band Paramore, released on July 26, 2005 under the Atlantic-distributed Fueled by Ramen in the United States. The production was led by James Paul Wisner, Mike Green, Nick Trevisick, and Roger Alan Nichols. All songs were written by vocalist Hayley Williams and guitarist Josh Farro. The departure of bassist Jeremy Davis, which occurred a few days after arriving in Orlando, served as the album's main theme. This theme was reflected especially in the album's cover and title. Mostly categorized as a pop punk album, the album received mostly positive reviews and has been labeled a "scene classic".-Wikipedia

  • PUNK NEWS

At only 16 years old, Hayley Williams does not have the band to match, and it's that poor song construction that leads to this record's early demise.

  • ALL MUSIC

Expertly executed and totally befitting its time, it was alright, but it just existed as an adept collection of straightforward rockers without much differentiation, excitement, or the brightness that would be found on later albums.

  • IT'S ALL DEAD

All We Know is Falling is much more than a simple debut – it’s a time capsule that reminds us of Paramore’s beginnings and the crazy journey that followed.

  • A DIVERSE SOUND

While the instrumentation can sound fairly stale and one-note on occasion the melodies stand amongst some of the band’s best.

  • The Indiependent

Despite mixed reviews and a lack of immediate commercial success, All We Know Is Falling was a strong debut that began Paramore’s illustrious and long (hopefully longer still) career that millions of fans all over the world are truly thankful for.

  • THE SOUND OF VINYL

The debut by this enthralling new rock band from Tennessee is powered by buoyant melodies and powerful hooks and is made indelible by the irresistible force of 16-year old vocalist Hayley Williams.

  • EDGE OF THE PLANK

The album overall has a few gems (Here We Go Again, Whoa), and everything else is good, but too much the same.
