CoS
ALL ABOUT LUV is not a bad effort at all. They could have done much worse. The thing that makes most K-pop groups’ English debuts fail (definitely recalling JYJ’s disastrous English album here) is the groups deviating from the sound that won them fans in the first place and then trying to force themselves into sounds considered “popular” in the States.

K-pop purists might clutch their pearls as group get fun and flirty.

Variety
With “All About Luv,” Monsta X has proven that K-pop transcends language barriers. And that’s something to be happy about.
-
RIOT
All About Luv is the win that the now six-member band need as they set a new standard for themselves and others, venturing out on a new journey five years after their debut.
-
TIME
11 tracks are uncharacteristically sensual and seductive for a K-pop act.

i was pleasantly surprised with this album and i think enjoy this Monsta X more than the hard hitting rap heavy one.

seoulbeats
All About Luv is a decent album, yet it fails to highlight Monsta X’s strengths as a group. However, if you just want to listen to a feel-good album in a language you understand, All About Luv is a real bop.

News Break
all of its songs explore elements of relationships. But don’t call it a love album: for as many sweet nothings as the set contains, its most powerful tracks deal with breakups and deceit.

This is a near faultless record, and All About Luv will only make us love Monsta X even more.

For a debut album, the songs are of top quality, and you can tell a lot of work was put into it. I can say with the utmost certainty that I will be looking forward to more of Monsta X’s work in the future.
-
The Kraze
All About Luv by far sets the bar high with the English lyrics that not only make sense but are not making the average fan cringe, the variety of genres offered, and overall album story being extremely well done.

The album features impeccable pieces of ear candy.
