I get it, it took Joyner Lucas 100 years to finally drop ADHD, but If you think about it, it probably took him that long to release the album because he wanted to give us something great. ADHD is not a great album, but it’s definitely better than a bunch of other debut albums I’ve heard in the last couple of years.

Combine the haughty sense of self-importance with his overwhelming desire for outside acceptance, and you have a recipe for disaster on ADHD.

Joyner's ADHD lingers in a peculiar fashion. Never is it unlistenable or unenjoyable, thanks in large part to Joyner's confidence and skillset.

This album should’ve been called literally anything else. That wouldn’t improve the quality of the music.

Legends Will Never Die
For waiting a little over 3 years, it’s really sad for me to see him squandering his potential like this. The man certainly has lyrical talent don’t get me wrong at all, but the topics he chose to touch base on really doesn’t resonate with me & it’s sound as a whole is so directionless.

ADHD is a very average project that I believe could’ve been a lot better if most of the singles were held until when ADHD came out, making this project more boring and with no real surprise, although the newer tracks such as Finally and The War are very good.

The Needle Drop
Every corner of ADHD is wack, shockingly derivative, or both.

Hip Hop Hopscotch
While lyrically it's not elite, it's not as corny as people make it out to be and sonically it sounds good. I will conclude that the first half is much stronger than the second half, and it takes a hit in the second half but I will still continue to check out future projects from Joyner.

As the closer rides out, Joyner’s ADHD lingers in a peculiar fashion. Never is it unlistenable or unenjoyable, thanks in large part to Joyner’s confidence and skillset.

Behind That Suit
I find his work boring. He has generic flows. Mr. Lucas is one half indie rapper who wants to flip off the industry and the other half pop star wannabe.

Personally for me, the album is a good one from Joyner and I really love all the songs on the album, my favorites being ISIS where he featured Logic, Broke and Stupid and Gold mine.
