It isn't Tech's best release in terms of lyrical quality but it is his funnest. The replay value for certain songs are great but there are a few songs here that are one really has to be in a certain mood to enjoy fully. All in all if you are a fan of rap, check this out it's quality stuff. If you aren't the biggest fan of genre this might just be different enough for you to enjoy.

The production was pretty lackluster for the most part. The subject matter was rarely interesting. Tech’s attempts at being dark and edgy completely failed. It’s just so corny. The album cover should’ve been a picture of Tech N9ne stuffing corn down his fans’ throats.

Rap Reviews
don’t be afraid to take a chance on “Absolute Power,” because on the title track he even describes it like “havin Halle Berry and Julia Lewis at the same time.” He’s right – the sheer bravado of his album will pump you up, the flows will keep you up, and the beats on the best tracks will make you THROW BOWS like nobody’s business. 2002 is the year of the N9ne.

An important and groundbreaking release, Absolute Power is as original in its delivery and all-encompassing in its scope as the early Public Enemy albums.
